December 10, 2012 — In collaboration with the Economic Development Corporation of New Haven and the City of New Haven, Next Street recently completed a feasibility assessment on establishing a culinary incubator in New Haven, CT at Gateway Community College’s Long Wharf campus. Based on our market / opportunity assessment and a preliminary development of the operating model, we believe that that this concept would help fill the unmet needs of New Haven food entrepreneurs seeking low-cost commercial kitchen space and technical assistance. The plan for Gateway’s culinary incubator has been given the green light to proceed towards a soft launch in the first half of 2013.
