Tameka’s primary focus is on client engagement, business development, and providing talent management and organizational development advisory services to Next Street’s clients.

Tameka has addressed the diverse human capital needs of companies for eight years. She applies her experience in organization and talent effectiveness to align, develop, and retain the talent needed to drive business results. Her experience includes work in industries such as financial services, manufacturing, professional services, not-for-profit, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals. She specializes in facilitation, leadership development, organizational assessment, and performance initiatives.

As an organizational consultant at Right Management Consultants from 2000 until 2006, and then at the Capital H Group in 2007, Tameka’s responsibilities ranged from managing diverse work teams, overseeing client engagements, to solution design, facilitation, and execution. At Right, Tameka managed complex consulting projects and teamed with other consultants in content development, program facilitation, data analysis, and competency modeling. While with Capital H, Tameka created and administered customized, web-based surveys, facilitated multiple small and large-group sessions, developed tools and processes for a variety of talent initiatives including performance management, diversity and inclusion, and organizational effectiveness. Clients have included the Boston Red Sox, MetLife, Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, PepsiCo, Pitney Bowes, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Ad Council.

Tameka holds a dual B.A. in Sociology and African-American Studies with a concentration in history from Yale University where she received a Master’s Cup and the Elm and Ivy Award for her dedication to community service and strengthening the relationship between Yale and the surrounding New Haven neighborhoods.

Tameka has been a speaker at the Linkage Organizational Development Summit and for the New England Human Resources Association South Shore Workshop series, as well as an author for Workforce Magazine. A third-generation and active member of Zion F.B.H. Church, Tameka serves as a member of the Leadership Committee, Director of the Youth Group (Youth Empowered to Soar), Finance Committee, and Sunday School teacher.
